How to Add Industrial Marketing to Your WordPress Site

As part of onboarding with Industrial Marketing, we will need access to your WordPress site. Here's how!

WordPress offers a number of user roles, allowing certain permissions to your website's management. The Admin role is the more powerful role, allowing a user to not only add posts and pages to your site but also update, add, or delete the theme and plugins. 

Industrial Marketing takes our role as Admin seriously. We're here to keep your website updated, fast, visible, and secure. 

Add a New Admin User to Your WordPress Site in Four Easy Steps

1. Log into your WordPress Dashboard.
2. On the left-hand sidebar, go to Users >> Add New
   
3. You will need to input the following details to set Industrial Marketing up as an Admin
   1. Username (required) - james@industrial.marketing
   2. Email (required) - james@industrial.marketing
   3. First Name - n/a
   4. Last Name - n/a
   5. Website - n/a
   6. Password - Please use the Generate Password button
   7. Send User Notification - keep this checked
   8. Role - Administrator
4. Click Add New User - Once you click Add New User, James will be notified that he has access to your site and will be able to set his own password.
